Elizabeth Simons
Elizabeth obtained her BFA from Colorado State University in 2011, where she focused on fiber arts, creative writing, and art history. After graduating, she worked as a technical writer and digital marketing manager for nearly 7 years before turning her sights to design. She hasn’t looked back, as she loves the marriage of technical and artistic skills it allows her to use. As an MGD student pursuing a certificate at Front Range, Elizabeth is taking classes that fill gaps in her design knowledge while simultaneously doing design work as Ainslee Studios. Having been born and raised in Fort Collins, she engages in projects that foster social and environmental good in the Fort Collins/ Northern Colorado community and beyond. Projects she has been involved with include promotional materials designed for NOLS (the renowned National Outdoor Leadership School based in Lander, WY) where she recently completed a six month internship, designing informative presentations on anxiety and emotion management for a therapist presenting to parents and families during the pandemic, and full branding and materials (print + digital) designed for an ongoing City Council campaign in Fort Collins.
