I've always disliked this part, the part of explaining my art and what drives me. Life, beauty, tragedy, pain, existence, love, hope, rage. Human essence and emotion is what inspires me. Does everyone that views my art see that translation on the canvas? Probably not, but that is what is so great about art. This isn't for you, it's for me. It's MY outlet. I use my own emotions to convey my feelings in whatever I am working on. As a graphic design student I had to find a way to utilize my fine art skills. I create my imagery on canvas or paper using acrylic paint, watercolor, graphite or charcoal. I photograph or scan my images and upload them into Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. From there I can edit them and use them in my graphic design work. Combining fine art and digital art is my passion, and necessary in our modern world.
