Doug Garcia

Doug is a new instructor in the graphic design program on the Front Range Larimer campus. Doug graduated from California State University, Chico many moons ago. Doug started working in the graphic design industry as the desktop age was just beginning. During is career, Doug has seen the graphic communication industry change from print centric to being more digital centric. Doug has been a professional graphic designer at three different university’s – Washington University in St. Louis, Washington State University, and Colorado State University. Doug’s main area of expertise is publication and print design.

Doug’s creative passions outside graphic design include cooking and woodworking. In addition, you will also see Doug swimming in the lakes during the summer, and skiing in the mountains in the winter.
