Stacey is a photographer, designer, and image-maker. She has recently stepped into the role of full-time faculty on the Larimer Campus. She graduated with her MFA from The University of Kentucky in 2008, and a BFA from The University of Nebraska - Lincoln in 2003. She has been teaching in higher ed since 2006 and has worked in the design industry for over 20 years. 📷
She currently teaches Photoshop I + II, Visual Communications, Introductions to Production Design, Emergent Media Practices and Exhibition Curation at FRCC on the Larimer Campus. She is experienced in new media, passionate about design and runs the MGD social media pages.
With a background in art history and digital technology, Stacey inspires designers to think creatively to combine self-expression with effective design communication. She also co-hosts the annual MGD Art Show, co-edits the AvantART Magazine, runs the department website and connects our students with community resources and employment opportunities.
Outside of FRCC, she has owned a commercial photography business for over 20 years, Bella Vita Photography.
